Field Class

Join Emmanuel in Pittsburgh’s North Shore for the chance to take some iconic shots of Pittsburgh. He will walk you through the step by step process to take your photo, including preparing for a shoot, shooting at golden hour, shooting at blue hour, and will begin with an explanation of setting up equipment and a question and answer session. The class will be limited to 20 people and will run for about 3 hours at sunset. This is a field class, you can bring whatever style of camera you prefer to use, and whatever equipment you have, the only requirement is to bring a tripod. The class is open to all levels of photographers, from amateur to advanced. Class will begin in the gallery, then Emmanuel will lead the class across the Warhol Bridge to the riverwalk on the North Shore to set up to capture some images. You'll have a variety of shots to take, ranging from bridges to iconic buildings.

Photography Class February 10, 2018

Intermediate class - Saturday, February 10th, 11:00 AM till 3:00 PM

Emmanuel will expand on the topics covered in the first class - specifically, the use of settings on the camera and how to use them for particular types of subjects. He will also cover why you need to use filters, shooting in raw, using polarizer filters, and using the Bridge application in Photoshop to work with raw images. Additionally, this class will go into depth on how to capture the thought behind a photo, the best times to shoot, and how to prepare.

The beginner's class is $150. The intermediate class is $200. Space is limited to 20 students.  Both classes will run 4 hours. Light refreshments will be provided.
